 US Open Snowboard Championship 2011 - Friday! Pre-Cap Including THE PARTY!
This video "pre-cap" takes us through Friday at the Burton US Open Snowboarding Championship 2011 at Stratton Mountain, VT. We meet Slopestyle Winners Eric Willet and Jamie Anderson for a chat before their contests. Luke Haddock, Ulrik Badertscher, Yale Cousino, and Sondre Tiller say a few words. We have a word with Slopestyle men's winners Mark McMorris, Chas Guldemond and near winner Jason Dubois as well as ladies winners Enni Rukajarvi and Silje Norendal. New " voice of the US Open" John Weaver tells us how he got his gig in the longer interview version. Lauren asks the mustachioed man the absurd question of the day "Are you Danny Davis?" and ... he is! We check out the rail jam set-up by daylight and "The Jam" action outdoors and in after dark.  Granite Gorge Mountain of Steez #2 2011
Granite Gorge, Roxbury, New Hampshire, 5 miles from Keene, knows how to throw down a party. This 2nd annual Mountain of Steez all day and all night party had 20 snowboard product sponsors, 3 or 4 contests on snow, outdoor food, a live band in the Beer Garden tent, swag tosses, freeriding in the park AND the usual, night riding and snow tubing. Late party at Lab 'n Lager and the Railroad in Keene, and a secret lakeside location, complete with blind-folded shuttle bus ride. Also, at the end of the vid hear the secret trail we found after riding all day at GG.

 Under Armour 3rd Rail Jam - Mountain Creek 2011 - Part 1
Mountain Creek, Jan 8, 2011 - 2nd stop of the 8 stop national 3rd Rail Jam tour. In part 1 here we see lots of rail action, and meet Kevin Whitehead of Outkast Sports who tells us why this contest is so appealing to the local riders. There was a huge turnout of 150 snowboarders and skiers.
DJ Image of the Bum Squad tells us why Slacker.com radio is different from other radio stations. The Park Crew and Jib Lab specialist tell us what it took to build this rail setup. And Timmy Kempson. last year's winner and his Dad Grover Tim comment on the contest.

We actually interviewed three of the winners of Rails to Riches BEFORE the event went down. Laura Rogowski, Megan Dorsey, and in another video Shaun Murphy all gave us a few words between qualifiers and the finals under the lights of Rails to Riches 2010. We caught up with old friend and 3rd place winner Casandra Herbes after the fact.
